BUGABOO DRAGONFLY

The city stroller Bugaboo Dragonfly combines comfort and flexible luggage options with a compact fold.

It folds in two seconds from any mode and position (bassinet or seat, parent-facing or world-facing, lying flat or sitting upright) , into a compact self-stand position, using just one hand.

In line with Bugaboo’s Push to Zero goals, the Bugaboo Dragonfly has also been designed to reduce its CO2 footprint. By using bio-based material, the stroller’s made more sustainably to build a better future towards Bugaboo’s net zero commitment by 2035.

I have been assigned to the Dragonfly from the very first idea to the end of concept development. My responsibilities ranged from concept and development of folding principles to surface modeling, prototyping and styling of stroller parts. All of that in close collaboration with a fantastic engineering team. In 2024, we were awarded with a Red Dot: Best of the Best Award and an IF award.
